Our cross-sector and cross-functional solutions are products, projects and services designed and architected specifically to manage the solution complexity and the increased delivery of requirements found within IS programmes which deliver across customers in different industries and/or in cross-functional settings.

The cross-sector products at C&C Group are those which have a concentration of common system functionality, business support features, and operational benefits relevant to several sectors. An example is customer data quality management (CDQM) which includes services ranging from cleansing, standardising, auditing, validation, and identity verification. Another example is the C&C Group GxP/GAMP validated data interfaces which are built generically using SOA techniques to architect a technology solution which is de-coupled from the business process, relying upon the international ICSHR E2B XML standard to drive consistency and standardisation of patient safety data across the pharma sector. This interface has no ‘coded’ knowledge of the data which it carries and hence it can be driven by telecommunications billing XML standards or financial system Equipment Inventory bill of parts XML specifications.

We have successfully delivered innovative solutions cross-sector using C&C Group products to deliver transparent robust production-ready witness-logged real-time self-diagnosing data integrations between systems as diverse as electrical utility New Connections street-lighting work-management and local government ERP systems, corporate finance real-estate investment house portfolio management systems, and drug-safety GxP/GAMP developed and validated named patient database systems.

We deliver in Public, Private and Non-Profit sectors via direct customer relationships as well as using the mechanisms of Public Private Partnership (PPP) and Private Finance Initiatives (PFI) - for public infrastructures and services. Delivering these products requires careful consideration of cross-sector communication challenges and project management. Our people are skilled in managing risk and applying cross-sector IS programme and project methodology tools and techniques which provision for the variance in cross cultural landscapes, visions, and values spanning the typical industry-mix in a multi-sector implementation.
