We believe you have to understand the business to deliver the right solutions
At C&C Group that’s not just a marketing message or a strap-line. It is behaviour and a work ethic and a fundamental cornerstone to all that we believe in and that which we do in our working life, delivering high quality integrated enterprise solutions which leave you to focus on your core operations.
C&C Group specialise by industry sector and focus specifically upon utilities and pharmaceuticals. The decision to constrain our services tightly to only two sectors is strategic. There are, however, a small number of exceptions where our directly relevant experience, knowledge and expertise has allowed us to work with other market sectors delivering immediate value.
This focus on staying aligned with your industry, being aware of the transformations in your markets, the day-to-day competitive landscape and the regulatory events which shape your horizons, including being fluent in your language, is why we know we are unique.
C&C Group chooses to be sector-focused and technology neutral so we can deliver unbiased objective assessments of your requirements and map the right solutions to the right challenges within your business today. It is why our solutions are consistently award-winning and generate repeat European and global projects. It is also why our services are called upon not just by all of the top 20 global corporations within our carefully chosen sectors but also by consortium-led programmes, industry bodies, regulatory agencies, and the central government departments who are key to the success of your business.
This is what makes C&C Group different and better.

Pharmaceuticals Sector
One of the most complex to be found in the modern business world, the pharmaceutical commercial model continues to evolve and diversify in response to new market drivers.
In common with other industries, recent advancements in technology are driving greater transparency and increased customer awareness whilst rises in healthcare costs and political movements are creating a transformed commercial landscape. In direct response pharma companies must invest in best-practise systems and IS infrastructure to build and maintain their newly designed and implemented post-reform commercial models.
Whilst the scale of technology required to grow share of voice and drive market share has fallen relative to the drop in field-based sales force numbers - the increased functional complexity and the intricacy of the data required to capture and analyse the expanding volumes of pharma sales and marketing data has created a demand for cost-effective and reliable corporate IS platforms and solutions. C&C Group technologists understand pharmaceuticals at a level of detail shared by their customers within the pharma business. This common understanding, subject matter expertise, and awareness of current industry affairs allows them to fully engage with the business and communicate ideas and directions resulting in fast to market, cost-effective, and innovative IT solutions.

C&C Group people speak your language, are familiar with local, regional, and global regulatory requirements, and come to you having already invested themselves in your sector, creating a bridge between technology and the business. This means they innovate from day one, deliver on time, manage costs down, and implement in the areas which will drive the highest ROI. Their priority does not lie with the latest technology; it focuses directly upon providing increased and immediate improvements in your business which in turn will drive a competitive advantage through technology.
Our growth over the past 20+ years reflects a culture of successful engagement with the pharmaceuticals industry. This is built on year after year of successful delivery of programmes and projects, developments and product implementations, and the consistent and persistent provision of high quality recurring application support contracts and other fully managed services. We have a strong track record in delivering solutions throughout the pharmaceutical value chain, covering data management in R&D, patient safety systems to GxP/GAMP standards, SOX compliant commercial systems for contract lifecycle management, and a complete enterprise suite of CRM systems and tools covering both operational customer relationship management and analytical CRM.

Cross Sector
Not a utility or pharmaceutical company? You may find that C&C Group is the right choice for you rather than the vanilla configure-me ‘big brand’ packaged ERP & CRM systems, or an internal project using resources on non-core business.
It’s a fact that our products, subject matter expertise, working methodologies, and delivery skills are strategically concentrated in utilities and pharmaceuticals, yet they often find applications in other industries. We can mobilise a project team and a pre-built and tested code-base quickly and cost-effectively for any sector. That's because we engineer our technology for systematic re-use, adopting modular development guided by the Service Orientated Application design patterns which our Technical Leads have designed, developed, and refined over many years. The core solution delivery framework used at C&C Group is our CRADLE application envelope. CRADLE is built in .NET and has a data layer compatible with all the leading RDBMS products (Oracle, SQL, etc). It is a SOA patterned application delivery shell de-coupled from the industry model specifics. We built it this way so that we could use it across any industry specialty without customisation, using a meta-data configuration approach.
Within CRADLE you find a configurable Data Capture Form Builder and a Business Rules Inference Engine, both driven by database repository meta-data. CRADLE is first and foremost configurable and can generate data capture functionality and reporting features which meet the core requirements and parameters of your sector / process mix. However as a company specialising in competitive advantage through technology differentiation we did not want to limit our clients to using the same solution as every other competitor so we created a standard for customisation (our own SOA Open System Architecture Pattern - OSAP). OSAP supports the requirements specific to your proprietary business process which you have designed specifically for competitive advantage through functional differentiation
The benefit of this approach is that we can deploy innovative enterprise solutions quickly (6 weeks in some cases), with a 100% match between function and requirement, and a history of completing User Acceptance Testing with zero issues raised. And because we have CRADLE we can repeat this for your business, delivering diagonally across the horizontal and the vertical, supplying the entire industry / business process service-chain mix in your organisation.
Although we cannot claim that the our people will be 100% familiar with the machinations of your sector prior to your project initiation, you can still bet your bottom dollar that by day 5 they will be asking questions and developing answers which will drive value throughout the project lifecycle. In fact we even defined and named this life skill and we have a dedicated assessment for this ability during our recruitment process. At C&C Group we call this the adept-itude test and we only employ people who show high scores in this evaluation.
