In order to help maximise an LDSO’s DUoS income it is important that the correct energisation status and trading status is set against each Supplier Registration in MPRS.  A Registration which is incorrectly set may not generate DUoS income.

C&C Group’s Registration Monitoring Utility (RMU) actively monitors the progress of de-energised and incomplete Supplier Registrations within the MPRS database, allowing LDSO to liaise with the Supplier regarding the correct status.

In 2003 CE Electric implemented the RMU into their NEDL and YEDL environments.  Since then, the RMU has assisted CE Electric working with different electricity Suppliers to improve the quality and accuracy of their data which has resulted several £millions of secured DUoS income that may otherwise have been lost.
