Distribution Premises Inspection System

Product Info

C&C Group's Distribution Premises Inspection System (DPIS) was designed and built specifically to help utility companies manage, administer, track and analyse both manned and unmanned premises & site inspections.

The closed-loop system will create and issue work schedules and store returned results.  The stored results may be used to automatically trigger subsequent events, and/or used to modify the frequency of the next inspection cycle.

Example business drivers include safety/legislative, data quality, must be read meters and vacant supply on.  DPIS addresses all of these business needs efficiently and cost effectively.

Case Studies

CE Electric & EDF Energy

Both CE Electric and EDF Energy have been using DPIS to manage all de-energised site inspection visits for a number of years.  DPIS has managed many tens of thousands of visits during this time.  Any unsafe equipment that has been identified as a result has allowed the respective organisation to undertake immediate remedial action neutralising the risk immediately.

Should the unthinkable happen and a member of the public hurt who has been exposed to unsafe equipment, DPIS provides management with a clear auditable record of all de-energised premises visits, right down to the individual who performed the visit, inspection results, observations and date and time.
